First, determine the brand of the purchased flat panel detector (PZDR or IRAY).

Second, power on the detector and connect it to the computer via an Ethernet cable. (If a wireless flat panel detector is used, please ensure that the computer is connected to the WIFI emitted by the flat panel detector.)

Next, open the network configuration window of the computer, find the network port connected to the detector, right-click the mouse, select Properties, double-click on IPV4 with the left mouse button, modify the IPv4 to (PZDR: 192.168.11.252 or IRAY: 192.168.8.188), change the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0, and click OK.

Next, open the detector software:

PZDR: Open the software, enter the password (the default password is 1). After entering the main interface, click on the Set icon, enter the password, select Trigger Mode as AED, click Modify, and restart the software after confirmation. Enter the main interface again and check if the detector icon in the lower right corner has successfully turned blue and the message “Detector is not connected” does not appear at the bottom of the main interface. Then you can select a body part to enter the exposure interface for testing.

Iray: First, insert the encryption key for the software. Then open the software and enter the password (default no password). After entering the main interface, click on the gear button in the upper right corner, select System, choose Xray in the Detector column, and select Full Debug in the Log level column. Then click OK. Restart the software. At this time, a window will pop up. Select the corresponding detector model in the WorkDir column (you can confirm the model on the nameplate on the back of the detector). Then select the Trigger mode (usually select Freesync), and then select the required Grid Removal mode and click OK. If the main interface shows the message that the detector is successfully connected, it means the software has successfully recognized the detector. Then you can choose to perform an exposure test. (If you don’t want a white pop-up window to appear every time you start up, you can select No Debug in the Log level column.)
